Side Lights Symbol 2 is the alternative artwork choice for a dedicated side-lighting control. Compare the product gallery with your panel layout before choosing this version: the symbol selection identifies the button, while the published electrical rating remains 12V 3A.
Choosing Side Lights Symbol 2 for your panel
The OEM-style face measures 32.5 × 22 mm, approximately 1.28 × 0.87 inches. Heavy-duty ABS construction and a matte black hard surface help maintain a factory look. The legend is laser etched directly into the face.
Place the switch where its marking is easy to identify among your other accessory controls. Verify both the opening and the vehicle application; face dimensions alone do not establish electrical compatibility with an existing harness.
Operating state versus dash illumination
Pressing the button IN turns the upper LED on. The lower LED has a separate dash-light connection option, allowing the two illumination functions to be wired according to the supplied diagram.
The switching arrangement is electronic Single Pole Single Throw ON/OFF with short circuit protection. It is not a variable brightness control.
Installation requirements
In ALL cases, the accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay. The switch rating is 3A at 12V; use the lighting manufacturer’s requirements when planning the load side of the circuit.
