The Air Horn Symbol Small Push switch identifies an air-horn control input with a directly laser-etched legend. A matte black hard face and heavy-duty ABS construction provide an OEM-style finish for the listed Toyota applications. The face measures 32.5 × 22 mm, or approximately 1.28 × 0.87 inches.
Air Horn Symbol: momentary ON/OFF
The button operates as a Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) momentary switch. Press and hold for ON, then let go for OFF. It does not latch. This allows each button press to produce an input for the length of time it is held, subject to the behavior of the connected horn equipment.
Lighting and connections
The upper LED is ON when the button is pressed in. A separate lower LED can be connected to the dash-light circuit, keeping its illumination independent of the momentary action. The supplied connector with cable and wiring diagram help identify the connections for the installation.
Choose a suitable horn-control circuit and check its input requirements. The Air Horn Symbol product supplies the labeled switch, not an air horn, compressor or air system. The control circuit and the panel opening both need to match the installation.
Electrical rating and relay requirement
Rated at 3A, 12V, with short-circuit protection. In ALL cases, the accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay. Follow the supplied wiring diagram and the connected equipment instructions.
Included in the package
One momentary Small Push switch, one connector with cable and a supplied wiring diagram.
