The Twin Air Compressor switch identifies a dedicated compressor-control position in an OEM-style accessory panel. Its legend describes the intended control label; the switch does not supply compressed air, include a compressor or increase the capacity of the connected equipment.
Planning a Twin Air Compressor installation
Check the compressor manufacturer’s control-circuit instructions first. The electronic Single Pole Single Throw switch has a 3A rating at 12V and short circuit protection. In ALL cases the accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay.
Do not connect compressor motor current directly through the Small Push button. The name on the face also does not imply two independently switched outputs: the published arrangement is Single Pole Single Throw.
Panel lighting and switch position
The upper LED is ON when the switch is pressed IN. A lower LED can be wired to a separate dash-light circuit. Use the supplied wiring diagram to identify these connections; the upper indicator is not an air-pressure gauge.
Physical specifications
A heavy-duty ABS body supports the matte black hard face. The Twin Air Compressor legend is laser etched into the surface. Face dimensions are 32.5 × 22 mm, approximately 1.28 × 0.87 inches, for a factory look in the appropriate opening.
