The Rear Lights push switch provides a clear panel label for a suitable rear-facing accessory-lighting circuit. A dedicated button helps distinguish that group from front, side or interior lighting controls.
Rear Lights switching and illumination
This electronic Single Pole Single Throw model provides ON/OFF operation at 12V, with a 3A rating and short circuit protection. It does not supply dimming, automatic reversing logic or a lamp-status monitor.
The upper LED is ON when the button is pressed IN. Connect the lower LED to a separate dash-light circuit if desired, following the supplied diagram. The upper light indicates switch position rather than confirmation that the lamps are operating.
Wire through a fused relay
The accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay in ALL cases. Select the relay and load wiring according to the connected lighting equipment’s instructions; the switch is a control component rather than a direct path for the full lamp load.
Face dimensions and finish
The face measures 32.5 × 22 mm, approximately 1.28 × 0.87 inches. A heavy-duty ABS body, matte black hard surface and laser-etched Rear Lights legend create an OEM-style presentation.
