Choosing Fog Lights Symbol 9
The OEM-style button uses a heavy-duty ABS body and matte black hard face. The graphic is laser etched directly into the surface. Face dimensions are 32.5 × 22 mm, approximately 1.28 × 0.87 inches.
Symbol 9 identifies the artwork option. It does not increase the switch’s load capacity or establish a direct match with an original fog-light harness.
Two separate illumination roles
Pressing the button IN turns the upper LED ON. The lower LED can be wired to a separate dash-light circuit using the supplied diagram. The upper indicator shows the switch state, not the condition of the lamps.
Electrical rating and installation
This electronic Single Pole Single Throw ON/OFF switch is rated at 3A at 12V and includes short circuit protection. The accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay in ALL cases. Plan the relay and load wiring according to the lighting equipment’s instructions.
Compatible with Toyota applications
Check the model year and switch space. Tacoma mounting is center console only. Confirm the exact year and opening for entries marked ON.
