The Rear Camera Symbol 2 push switch gives a compatible camera-control installation a clearly marked panel position. Use the Symbol 2 design to distinguish the rear-camera circuit from nearby lighting or general accessory controls while keeping a factory look.
Rear Camera Symbol 2 circuit planning
Check the camera and display manufacturer’s instructions before selecting a control arrangement. This electronic Single Pole Single Throw ON/OFF switch is rated at 3A at 12V and includes short circuit protection. It does not process video or establish compatibility with a factory camera interface.
The accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay in ALL cases. The camera’s supply voltage and control-input requirements must be checked separately; a 12V switch specification does not mean every camera accepts a 12V feed.
Two LEDs for the switch position
The upper LED turns on when the button is pressed IN. Connect the lower LED to a separate dash-light circuit if desired, following the supplied diagram. The upper light indicates the button’s state, not confirmation that the rear view is being displayed.
