The Tacoma Scoop Light Small Push switch marks a dedicated scoop-light control with a Tacoma vehicle graphic. The laser-etched artwork is intended to complement Tacoma styling while the matte black face maintains an OEM-style cabin appearance.
Tacoma Scoop Light design and compatibility
Choosing this artwork does not restrict the switch to Tacoma. It is compatible with Toyota vehicles in the full Small Push list below, with the same face dimensions, connector format and electrical specifications. Match the listed vehicle and panel location before installation.
The Tacoma Scoop Light button provides latching SPST ON/OFF operation for a suitable accessory control circuit. It keeps the selected state until the next press. The kit does not include a scoop, lamp or mounting assembly; the label identifies the circuit the switch is intended to control.
Use the two LED functions to arrange status and dashboard illumination as described below. The supplied wiring diagram and cable connector help identify the switch connections when planning the installation.
Switch specifications
- Single Pole Single Throw (SPST), latching ON/OFF: press for ON, press again for OFF.
- Electronic switch rated at 3A, 12V, with short-circuit protection.
- 32.5 × 22 mm face, approximately 1.28 × 0.87 inches.
- Heavy-duty ABS plastic with a matte black hard surface.
- Laser-etched graphic and legend.
- Upper LED is ON when the switch is pressed in.
- Lower LED can be connected to a separate dash-light circuit.
In ALL cases, the accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay. Follow the supplied diagram and the accessory wiring requirements.
