The Rear Locker push switch marks a dedicated rear-differential-locker control position. Its laser-etched label helps separate that circuit from front-locker, compressor and lighting controls in a planned accessory panel. The matte black finish provides a factory look for the listed Toyota mounting applications.
Rear Locker control: check the system requirements
This is an electronic Single Pole Single Throw ON/OFF switch rated at 3A at 12V, with short circuit protection. Confirm that the locker or its controller accepts the intended switching arrangement before installation. The label alone does not establish compatibility with a particular differential-lock system.
The accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay in ALL cases. Follow the locker manufacturer’s instructions as well as the supplied switch wiring diagram when selecting the relay, fuse and cable. Vehicle mounting fitment does not imply direct connection to factory locker wiring.
What the LEDs indicate
The upper LED illuminates when the switch is pressed IN. It indicates the button’s state, not confirmation that the differential is locked. The lower LED can be wired to a separate dash-light circuit. Keep any system-specific engagement indication and operating requirements defined by the locker manufacturer.
