The Phone Charger push switch gives a suitable accessory charging installation a dedicated ON/OFF button. Separate charging hardware must provide the phone connection and charging output; this item supplies the marked panel control.
Phone Charger circuit requirements
Check the separate charger’s supply and control-input specifications before wiring. The electronic Single Pole Single Throw switch is rated at 3A at 12V, with short circuit protection. That switch rating is not a phone-charging output or charging-speed specification.
The accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay in ALL cases. Follow the supplied switch diagram and the charger manufacturer’s instructions when arranging the installation.
Illumination versus charging status
The upper LED is ON with the button pressed IN. It shows switch position rather than the phone’s battery or charging state. The lower LED may connect to a separate dash-light circuit.
Small Push face and materials
A laser-etched Phone Charger legend sits on a matte black hard face measuring 32.5 × 22 mm, approximately 1.28 × 0.87 inches. The heavy-duty ABS body and OEM-style format suit a factory-look panel.
Compatible with Toyota mounting applications
Verify the vehicle year and switch opening. Tacoma installation is center console only. For entries marked ON, check the exact year and available space before purchase.
