Rear Air Locker Symbol: identifying the rear control
Use the Rear Air Locker Symbol when laying out a suitable relay-controlled installation. Follow the locker manufacturer’s requirements for wiring and operating sequence. The upper light shows the switch state rather than independently confirming mechanical locker engagement.
Push switch for Toyota rear air locker: Large Push specifications
- Face size: 39 × 21 mm (approximately 1.54 × 0.83 inches). This is the face measurement; verify the mounting opening separately.
- Single Pole Single Throw (SPST), maintained ON/OFF operation: press in to switch ON and press again to switch OFF.
- Electronic switch rated at 3A at 12V for accessory control, with short circuit protection. A fused relay remains mandatory.
- Heavy-duty ABS construction with a matte black hard surface.
- Rear Air Locker Symbol legend laser etched directly into the switch face.
- Two LEDs: one upper indicator and one lower panel light.
- The upper LED turns ON when the switch is pressed IN.
- The lower LED can be wired to a separate dash-light circuit.
Wiring and installation — fused relay required
A fused relay is required in ALL installations. Do not power the accessory directly through this 3A, 12V switch. Route accessory power through a suitably rated, fused relay circuit to avoid overloading the switch.
Use the supplied wiring diagram and confirm the accessory manufacturer’s control requirements. The included connector and wiring pigtail provide the switch-side connection; they are not a complete accessory wiring harness. A suitable CH4X4 marine-grade waterproof 12V 40A relay with 4-pin harness is available separately. Have a qualified installer check the wiring, fuse protection and relay selection if needed.
