The Side Lights push switch creates a distinct control position for a suitable auxiliary lighting installation. Its laser-etched legend helps separate this circuit from front-facing lights and other accessories on your panel. The Small Push format offers a factory look in the listed Toyota mounting locations.
Side Lights control and illumination
This electronic Single Pole Single Throw switch provides ON/OFF operation at 12V, with a 3A rating and short circuit protection. The upper LED illuminates when the button is pressed IN, giving a visible indication of the switch position.
A second, lower LED can be wired to a separate dash-light circuit. Follow the supplied wiring diagram to distinguish that illumination connection from the accessory control wiring.
Plan the relay circuit first
The accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay in ALL cases. Do not route the lighting load directly through the button simply because the lamps use a 12V supply. Select the rest of the installation to suit the connected equipment and its instructions.
