Tacoma 3rd Gen graphic and Large Push compatibility
The Tacoma 3rd Gen reference describes the vehicle graphic and the intended panel appearance. It does not limit the switch to that model or generation. This design has the same dimensions, electrical specifications and vehicle compatibility as a regular CH4X4 Large Push switch. It can also be installed in the other listed vehicles when the mounting opening and position match.
Grille Light Bar Symbol: choosing this control
Grille Light Bar Symbol distinguishes the bar from separate grille LED lamps. The Tacoma 3rd Gen artwork coordinates the control with the rest of a vehicle-themed panel. This is the switch-side component only; light-bar dimensions, mounts and current requirements are determined by your separately purchased lighting equipment.

Relay and controlled lighting equipment are sold separately. The supplied connector provides the switch-side connection, not a complete accessory power harness.
Push switch for Toyota Tacoma 3rd Gen grille light bar: specifications
- Face size: 39 × 21 mm (approximately 1.54 × 0.83 inches). Verify the actual mounting opening separately.
- Single Pole Single Throw (SPST), latching ON/OFF operation: press once for ON and again for OFF.
- Electronic switch rated at 3A at 12V, with short circuit protection.
- Heavy-duty ABS construction with a matte black hard surface.
- Grille Light Bar Symbol and Tacoma 3rd Gen artwork laser etched directly into the face.
- Two LEDs: one upper indicator and one lower panel light.
- Upper LED turns ON when the switch is pressed IN.
- Lower LED can be wired to a separate dash-light circuit.
Wiring and installation — fused relay required
A fused relay is required in ALL installations. Do not power the accessory directly through this 3A, 12V switch. Route accessory power through a suitably rated relay circuit with appropriate fuse protection.
Follow the supplied wiring diagram and the accessory manufacturer’s instructions. The connector and cable provide the switch-side connection. The CH4X4 marine-grade waterproof 12V 40A relay with 4-pin harness is available separately. Have your installer confirm relay, wiring and fuse selection for the accessory load.
