The Spot Lights push switch gives a suitable auxiliary spotlight circuit its own ON/OFF button. The named legend helps you distinguish this control from flood, side or other lighting circuits without changing the look of the surrounding panel.
Build a Spot Lights control circuit
Start with the lighting equipment’s electrical requirements. This electronic Single Pole Single Throw switch is rated at 3A at 12V and has short circuit protection. The accessory MUST be wired through a fused relay in ALL cases.
A 12V lamp supply does not mean the complete lamp load should pass through the button. Follow the supplied switch diagram and the connected equipment’s installation instructions when arranging the relay, fuse and wiring.
Read the two LED functions correctly
The upper LED turns ON when the switch is pressed IN. The lower light can be wired to a separate dash-light circuit. These are switch illumination features; the button does not measure lamp output or confirm the condition of the lighting equipment.
Mounting dimensions and finish
The face is 32.5 × 22 mm, approximately 1.28 × 0.87 inches. Heavy-duty ABS construction, a matte black hard face and a laser-etched Spot Lights legend provide an OEM-style finish for a factory look.
